ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a strong Backend developer who has strong experience with both architecture design and backend development. At Favarr, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful initiatives and projects with teams of highly skilled members from around the world. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of demonstrated relevant experience with Node.js server side JavaScript
Experience in designing and developing web services using REST and JSON
Strong knowledge on Nodejs, React and other JS technologies
Should be capable of writing APIs with Nodejs
Strong knowledge of AWS
Unix / Linux experience
Knowledge of Performance, Scalability, Availability, Maintainability and Security
Good understanding of CICD process
Knowledge of Microservices and respective architecture design principles
Strong Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like Google Firebase, AWS RDS
Experience with Github or other version controls

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will serve as one of the primary members of the product development team
You will be responsible for system design and providing thoughtful inputs in the full lifecycle from concept to production
Implement automated unit and integration tests and ensures the practice is followed consistently
Monitoring and assessing the performance of deployed code
Owning, maintaining and managing the backend stack
Fixing bugs and performance problems
